Recruitment

 

If you participate in an Estia Health recruitment process, we will collect personal information about you. 

The types of information we collect may include names, contact details, date and place of birth, gender, emergency contact information, resume data, right to work status, educational history, employment history, demographic information, tax file number, sensitive information (such as your professional or trade association memberships, union memberships, criminal history), details relating to your passport, birth certificate, change of name/marriage certificate, Australian citizenship certificate, VEVO Certificate and information in any relevant screening or background checks. 

The relevant screening and background checks will depend on the role you have applied for, but may include a National Police History Check, National Personal Insolvency and Bankruptcy Check Report, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and/or AHPRA Certificate of Registration. 

Generally, we will collect information from you directly.  But we may also collect personal information from others, such as your referees, aptitude assessors, current and former employers, through criminal history and other screening and background checks, and from publicly available sources.

We collect, use, disclose and otherwise handle personal information about you to carry out the recruitment process, and if you are successful for any onboarding process and subsequent employment, to consider and contact you regarding other positions, as well as our related internal administrative purposes.

In carrying out these activities, we may disclose personal information to our related entities, current contractors, advisors, regulatory and law enforcement agencies, our third party product and service providers and as otherwise authorised or permitted by law. Generally, these parties are located in Australia but this can vary and we may disclose personal information to overseas recipients where permitted by privacy laws.

If your application is unsuccessful, we may retain personal information in our talent database for around 12 months following the relevant recruitment process or your provision of an expression of interest to us and may contact you if another role arises that you may be interested in (unless you ask us not to). 

If you do not provide us with the personal information that we request, we may be unable to accept, consider or progress your employment application, with us.
