Overseas applications

We welcome interest from internationally qualified nurses who are keen to explore a career in Aged Care in Australia. With our portfolio of 70+ homes across four states in Australia and growing, we are always keen to connect with internationally qualified people!

In the first instance what will be important is for our talent acquisition team to have a general conversation with you to understand what you are looking for, your motivations to relocate to Australia and which region you would consider relocating to.  For us to do this we would like you to provide us with an overview of your experience, skills and strengths and any clinical specialisations you have developed throughout your career in the form of a resume and cover letter.  View our available positions here

We understand that the process of relocating overseas can seem daunting and our talent acquisition team are committed to keeping you updated throughout the process and along with our migration partner will be able to answer questions throughout the process.

Visa Sponsorship for Registered Nurses

Estia Health can offer sponsorship on a temporary visa which has a pathway to
Permanent Residency. There are several visa options available. The main two visa
pathways that Estia Health offer are:

  • Temporary Skills Shortage Visa (subclass 482) Short-term & Long-term stream

This visa enables Estia Health to sponsor skilled workers in Australia on either a 2 (short-term) or 4 (medium-term) year visa. You are required to work full time and only with the nominated employer.

  • Employer Nomination Scheme Visa (Subclass 186)
This visa is a pathway to permanent residency allowing you to live and work in Australia permanently.

Our migration partner (Newland Chase) will assist you in the visa process and support
you along the way from gathering the correct documents, the nomination and approval process.
