Estia Health welcomes the scrutiny of the aged care sector through the work of the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety.
We acknowledge the vision put forward today by the Commissioners for the operation of the Royal Commission.
We support the Commissioners’ view that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to review the sector and will continue to fully co-operate with the Commission and Government to ensure the sustainable delivery of high quality, safe and affordable care for older Australians.
We also support any of our staff, residents or their families wanting to make a submission to the Royal Commission.
We made our first submission to the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety on 7 January, including the detailed survey the Commission asked service providers to complete.
