We're celebrating some of the contributions of Estia Health's volunteers for national volunteer week.

Meet Anita! Anita first came to be a volunteer at our home after her mum, Dorothy, passed away. Anita was a wonderful support to her mum and to other residents and employees in the home whilst her mum was a resident here. Shortly after Dorothy passed away, Anita realised what a large part of Estia Health Salisbury East had become in her life and decided she wanted to continue to service residents by way of becoming a volunteer.

Joyce's respite stay

Joyce's respite stay

After a short stay in hospital Joyce came to Estia Health Bannockburn for two weeks of respite. As the carer for her husband at home, Joyce now needed someone to care for her. Joyce has loved her two weeks stay at Estia Bannockburn and wouldn’t hesitate moving in permanently if she needed to.

Harry, a resident at Estia Nambour, recently celebrated 100 years of love and laughter with cakes, parties, family and friends. But Harry had more in store to celebrate turning 100 years old - he and his family had planned a flight in a glider with Caboolture Gliding Club.
