Estia Health Dalmeny to host a Family Fun Day fundraiser in support of the Cancer Council

All are welcome when Estia Health Dalmeny invites the community in for a family fun day for a good cause. The aged care home will be co-hosting a free community fun day alongside a Biggest Morning Tea fundraising event in support of the Cancer Council.

The Biggest Morning Tea is a nationwide fundraising event. The Dalmeny home has been hosting Biggest Morning Tea events in support of the Cancer Council the past two years and this year they have decided to raise the ambitions and invite young and old to a day of combined fun, festivity and fundraising at the beautiful aged care home.

A small donation of $10 provides you access to a morning tea feast, with sandwiches, coffee, scones and tea as well as a chance to win a laptop as a lucky door prize.

Narooma local Jess Bourke shares her inspirational personal experience with cancer and folk music group Tidal Moon will be performing for all attendees.

However, this years’ event is about more than charity. It is also about giving back to the community which supports the home. The Family Fun Day, therefore, feature lots of free entertainment and activities, arranged by the community, for the community.

“The market will be bustling with local vendors and private trash and treasure stalls alike”, says Loretta Creevey, Executive Director at Estia Health Dalmeny.

Free offerings include a sausage sizzle, a lolly drop, a boot throwing competition and many more events to complement the atmosphere among food stalls and market stalls. Children can especially look forward to experiencing the Great Zamboni’s amazing magic, have their faces painted and walk away with a freshly twisted balloon animal.
