As of 1 June 2026, Estia Health has officially taken ownership and commenced operations of the three homes, now known as Estia Health Chirnside Park, Estia Health Croydon North and Estia Health Kurunjang, further strengthening its presence across greater Melbourne.
This milestone represents an important step in Estia Health’s long-term growth strategy, increasing capacity and enhancing its ability to support more older Australians with high-quality, personalised care.
Sean Bilton, CEO of Estia Health, said, “We are delighted to welcome these homes, along with their residents and dedicated teams, to Estia Health and are proud to continue the legacy established by the Willoughby family over multiple decades. This expansion supports our commitment to delivering care to more older Australians.”
The three homes add 308 residential aged care places to Estia Health’s portfolio, reinforcing its growing national footprint.
Approximately 520 team members have transitioned to Estia Health as part of the acquisition, further strengthening workforce capability and supporting continuity of care.
“We know the important role team members play in the daily lives of our residents and we want to assure all residents and their families that they will continue to receive the same dedicated care and services from the same people that they always have,” Bilton said.
Estia Health is committed to ensuring a smooth transition for residents, families and team members. “As a provider of 96 residential aged care homes across Australia, we are proud to deliver personalised care and support to residents and their families at an important time in their lives.”
This acquisition reflects Estia Health’s ongoing investment in expanding and enhancing its aged care services across Australia.
