Sign Your Resident Agreement with DocuSign
Sign Your Resident Agreement with DocuSign
A simple, secure way to complete your documents.

Estia Health offers a convenient way for you to review and sign your Resident Service Agreement online using DocuSign. This secure digital platform allows you to complete important documents at a time and place that suits you, without the need for printing or posting paperwork.
What is DocuSign?
DocuSign is a trusted global platform that enables people to review and sign documents electronically. It is widely used around the world and meets strict security and legal standards, so you can feel confident your information is protected.
With DocuSign, you can securely review and complete your Resident Service Agreement online, helping to make the process faster and more convenient for you and your family.
The Australian Government states that electronic signatures are legally valid and equivalent to handwritten signatures for most transactions. The law confirms that documents and signatures can be completed electronically just as they can on paper.

Sign anytime, on any device
You can access your documents on a computer, tablet, or mobile phone—whenever it suits you.
Simply:
- Open the email from DocuSign
- Review your documents carefully
- Click the “Sign Here” prompts to complete your agreement
There’s no need to come into the home to collect paperwork, wait for documents in the mail or send anything back by post.
Are electronic signatures legally valid?
Yes. Electronic signatures are legally recognised in Australia and can be used to sign Resident Service Agreements.
DocuSign meets strict legal and security standards, and the signed document is just as valid as a handwritten signature.

Is it safe to sign documents this way?
Yes. DocuSign uses strong security protections, including:
- Encryption to protect your data
- Secure transmission when documents are sent
- Access controls so only authorised people can view documents
Electronic signatures are widely used and designed to be secure and reliable.
Your privacy and security are very important to us. Your completed documents will be securely stored by Estia Health in line with our privacy and record-keeping policies.

How can I see who has signed my document and when?
DocuSign provides a secure audit trail, which is a record of everything that happens to your document.
This includes:
- Who received the document
- When each person opened it
- When each person signed
- The final completion date and time
This information is automatically recorded and cannot be changed, helping everyone clearly see the status of the document and providing a trusted record of who signed and when.
If more than one person needs to sign
If multiple people (for example, a resident and their representative) are required to sign the agreement:
- Each person will receive their own email
- Each signature is completed individually but as part of the same document

We understand this is important information and may take time to review.
You can:
- Start reviewing your documents and return later if needed
- Select “Finish Later” to save your progress

After you’ve signed
