Estia Health Benalla hosted a Christmas party for residents, families and friends on December 11.
A raffle was held at the party with $375 being donated to Benalla's Men's Shed.
A spokesperson said the highlight was a visit from Santa, who presented gift bags to all residents.
“We were entertained by Don Dunnachie who played the accordion and lead everyone in singing Christmas carols,” the spokesperson said.
“Our Christmas Raffle was a great success, with lots of items being donated to make up the huge number of prizes and hampers raffled at our resident’s Christmas party, raising a total of $375 for the Benalla Men’s Shed.
“Estia Health Benalla regularly donates money to local community groups throughout the year, and looks forward to continuing to fundraise in 2020 to help local groups and support local needs.”
Benalla Men’s Shed delivers great benefits for the wider community through major projects, donating arts and crafts, refurbished bicycles, cooking classes, participating in community events, and actively promoting men’s health, mental health and wellbeing.
