Welcome to Estia Health Mount Coolum, one of our aged care homes located on the Sunshine Coast
Estia Health Mount Coolum is a warm and welcoming single-level home in a convenient, quiet location. The home sits at the base of Mount Coolum, surrounded by national reserve land and close to public transport, local shops and the beach.
The experienced clinicians, carers and hospitality teams look after all aspects of a resident’s care, including clinical, social and overall wellbeing, which can be accessed for short-term respite care or a longer stay. The home’s Memory Support Unit provides a safe and supportive environment for residents requiring additional support.
The home’s design is made up of small, contained community areas, the ‘terraces’, which create a safe and intimate environment for residents to enjoy. There are single rooms as well as companion rooms for couples who wish to live together. All rooms have ensuite and a view of the gardens, courtyards, golf course or Mount Coolum itself. The activities program has something to suit all interests and includes various groups, excursions and a calendar of cultural events.

The home is managed by our Residential Aged Care Manager who oversees the running of the aged care home to ensure residents have the best experience possible, with our Care Director leading a skilled nursing team rostered on duty 24/7, supported by care, hospitality and lifestyle teams, all focused on enriching and celebrating residents’ lives.

What will it cost?
When moving into an aged care home the amount you pay will depend on the home and room you choose, your own circumstances and means to pay for the available care and services. Your accommodation and care costs may be partly or fully covered by the government, which will be determined by a means assessment.
