Estia Health Bentleigh preparing for an exciting redevelopment and expansion

Estia Health Bentleigh will close on 6 March 2026 as we begin a major redevelopment that will expand the home to 108 places.

During this transition, the home is not welcoming new residents, but our wider Estia Health network continues to support the community with high quality clinical, social and emotional care
We are actively supporting residents and families throughout this transition by providing regular updates, guidance and assistance.

Our Estia Health Oakleigh East and Estia Health Glen Waverley homes are welcoming new enquiries, offering dementia and palliative care for respite or longer term stays.

The future Bentleigh home will feature a modern single level layout with increased accommodation, enhanced communal areas and refreshed outdoor spaces designed to better support resident wellbeing. We look forward to keeping the community updated as this transformation progresses and as we prepare to reopen in 2027.

If you would like to learn more about the temporary closure, please visit our Frenquently Asked Questions page or contact us via info@estiahealth.com.au

What will it cost?

When moving into an aged care home the amount you pay will depend on the home and room you choose, your own circumstances and means to pay for the available care and services. Your accommodation and care costs may be partly or fully covered by the government, which will be determined by a means assessment.
